Properties Toolbar
Top strip with numeric inputs for the active selection or active tool. Position, size, rotation, text options.
The Properties Toolbar adapts to whatever is happening. When you have a selection, it shows position, size, rotation. When a tool is active, it shows that tool's options inline so you do not have to dive into the Shape Properties panel.
Sections
Position & Size

| X Pos / Y Pos | number | The selection's reference-point position. Unit toggles with Display Unit. |
| Width / Height | number | Object dimensions. |
| W% / H% | number | Percentage scale (e.g. 200% to double). |
| Lock aspect ratio | toggle | Lock width/height ratio. |
| 9-point anchor grid | toggle | Which point on the bounding box the X/Y position refers to. |
| Rotation | number, degrees | |
| Unit toggle | mm / inches | Quick toggle for the active session (also in Settings, Units & Grid). |
Text Options (only when text is selected or the Text tool is active)

Tool-Specific Options
Some tools surface their options here while active:
- Radius tool: R input (radius value).
- Node tool: sub-mode buttons.
- Star tool: points, ratio, dual-radius (also editable in Shape Properties).
Layout
Top of the workspace, horizontal strip below the menu and above the canvas. Width adapts to content.
