Color Palette toolbar

The Color Palette behaves as a toolbar even though it is docked as a panel. It is the place where color and layer meet.

In short

• A row (or column, depending on dock zone) of color swatches.
• Click with a selection to assign the selection to that color's layer.
• Click with nothing selected to set the next-draw color.
• Regular layers 00 to 99. Tool layers T1 to T9.

Layout

Default position: bottom edge of the workspace, horizontal. Can be docked to the left, upper-right, or lower-right (becomes vertical there) or floated.
